Today let me talk about a book I recently read, God and his girlfriend by Mr. Priyank Aryan.
The story revolves around a Christian girl living in the city of joy.
The story talks about child molestation which touches my heart because a lot of girls in India who suffer a physical abuse are silenced by their own mothers which is something to be ashamed off first and secondly should be stopped.
Next, the story talks about how poor people get persuaded under pressure to opt for an illegal profession to keep their family safe and how next they are forced to drag and affect innocent people into the same heinous crime ( a small word to describe) in name of religion.
We usually get caught in our personal lives so much that we don't see what's going around and that we never can even think life have this capability of changing itself 360 degrees influenced by some invaders of our lives.
This is exactly what I felt reading this story which is talking about someone among us living a life like a rollercoaster ride seeming perfectly fine from our eyes.
We don't often come across people who have to make a choice between his country and the only person he loves. This book talks about that person. Read to know him.
The story is about terrorism, patriotism, child abuse and love above all.
Without revealing much I will say keep aside the romance for sometime pick up this book so as to read a life we would dread to live.
A different book indeed.
